“Beyond a Reasonable Doubt: The Long Road to Exoneration“
Bhavan Sodhi, JD, Wrongful Conviction Specialist, Board Member and former Legal Director, Innocence Canada, former Executive Director, Osgoode Innocence Project (Toronto) and former Chief Program Officer, Innocence Project (NY). Founded as a grassroots organization in 1993 to gain justice for Guy Paul Morin, Innocence Canada’s mission is to identify, advocate, and support the exoneration of individuals who have been wrongly convicted by the Canadian criminal justice system. Thirty-four (34) people have been exonerated to date, with over 125 cases currently under review. Innocence Canada also provides crucial support to exonerees and educational programming to help prevent future wrongful convictions.
