What’s new in nuclear and its role in a greener future.

Dr. Novog is an expert in nuclear safety, emergency preparedness and advanced reactor designs with almost 30 years of experience in nuclear industry and academia.

Join Dr. Dave Novog for a discussion on nuclear energy, its role in climate solutions, and small modular reactor (SMR) technologies. Learn more about the role SMRs can play in the world’s clean energy future and explore the challenges and opportunities in the field. He will highlight the important role Canada can play in these emerging technologies, and the similarities to McMaster’s existing small nuclear reactor.

David Novog is a leading expert on nuclear safety and professor of Nuclear Engineering at McMaster University. He works with leading teams from around the world through various forums including the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) of the OECD and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He has provided input to the provincial and federal government’s on nuclear energy issues and continues to provide a resource for communities and government on nuclear energy issues.
