March 20 – Captain Judy Cameron C.M. – was the first Canadian woman pilot to fly for Air Canada, the second woman to fly for a Canadian commercial airline, the first Canadian female captain of a Boeing 767 and 777. After 37 years and 23,000 hours, she retired and became a director of the Northern Lights Aero Foundation, that encourages women in aviation and aerospace. April 24 (note 4th Thursday) – Paul Berton is an award-winning journalist, writer, editor and public speaker. He is currently the Editor in Chief of the Metroland Media Group. Paul is author of Shopomania: Our Obsession with Possession, published in October 2022, and Misfortune and Fame: 10 Reasons You Don’t Want to Be Rich (or Famous), published October 2023.
