February 19 – Dr. Saskia Sivananthan – Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The Brainwell Institute a nonprofit dementia research and policy think tank. She is also an Affiliate Professor at McGill University and the former Chief Knowledge Officer at the Alzheimer Society of Canada. Dr. Saskia is an internationally recognized expert on dementia care. March 26 – Ron MacLean – Host, Hockey Night in Canada on Sportsnet – MacLean’s extensive knowledge and passion for the game of hockey, combined with 30 years of hosting Hockey Night in Canada and Rogers Hometown Hockey, has made him one of the country’s most famous and beloved broadcasters. In 2015, MacLean was inducted to Canada’s Walk of Fame. Presentation topic to come.
April 16 – Patrice Dutil – author, commentator, podcaster and occasional activist. Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University. He is the author of several books, his latest, “Sir John A. McDonald and the Apocalyptic Year 1885″ In reviews it is described as “A splendid biography by one of Canada’s most respected political scientists.”
